With the port and starboard side spreader bars, there is no need to use outriggers. The large birds with these are designed to push out in either direction and will easily get the spreader bar out of your prop-wash. Our port and starboard birds are one solid piece unlike other brands that have an added wing positioned in a channel on the bird.
he Pink OG color is by far our most popular color and has been proven to be deadly! It is a full pink squid with silver foil running down its back. Bluefin love the pink!
Red Tomato
The red tomato is a classic that the fish can’t resist. The squid is red with black dots along the back. It is never a bad idea to have the Red Tomato color running and is especially effective when the fish are feeding on red crab!
Caramel
One of my personal favorite colors! The Caramel squid has a brown body with black and orange colors along with glitter. In the water the Caramel color looks like a squid in its natural darker state.
Purple Candy
Another one of our most popular and effective colors! The Purple Candy squid has a dark purple body with gold glitter and two red stripes running down the body. On more overcast days the squid looks darker in the water. On sunny days the squid becomes a lighter almost translucent purple.
Dark Chaos
The Dark Chaos color features a black body squid with silver glitter and purple stripes around the body. This is a great color to run in darker conditions. Early mornings, late afternoons or gloomy days. Last season many triple digit bluefin slammed this color!
Spreader Bar Options
Standard Straight Back Spreader Bar
Spreader Bars are trolling jigs meant to catch big game pelagic species of fish. They create a lot of splash and commotion on the water to lure the fish in where they see a school of squid behind the splashing. The straight back spreader bar runs in no particular direction, it will go straight back when trolled. Most effective run down the middle and far back. Every fishery is different, but in California it works best from 200-300 yards behind the boat. Trolling speed can range from 4-8 kn.

The port side directional bar has a fin build onto the bottom of the bird that acts as a rudder. It will push the bar out of the wake on the port side of your boat eliminating the need for outriggers! Every fishery is different, but in California it works best from 75-100 yards behind the boat. Trolling speed can range from 4-8 kn.
